The mission of Bare Arts is to make local artwork accessible to everyone. We want to create a place where local artists can showcase their work, make it available for sale, and let the world know what they're about. For our customers, we want to provide an experience that is more than just shopping, but a chance to browse and enjoy works of art created by artists in their community, and purchase original works for themselves. People who visit our site will not just shop for art, but will have a chance to learn more about the artists that live nearby, and find out about artistic events in the community in which they can participate.
For artists, we will provide a network where newcomers and established artists alike can connect, share ideas and experiences and grow together as a community. Being an artist can sometimes be an insular job, spending hours in a studio or workspace without always having a chance to interact with other artists, or patrons of the arts. Our purpose is to give artists a way to connect with the rest of the community and share the wonderful experience of creative work that goes on all around us.
